Thanks Fiona Lowe. It's the right book. Actually I didn't recognized the title but I recognized the book cover. It's pity that it wasn't available on eBook Boutique. It's quite hard to find medical romance in the bookstores and unfortunately I can't buy online cause I'm not from US or Australia. The only way for me getting harlequin books is through eBook purchases or bookstores(but mdical titles are rare to find). Hopefully eharlequin can add medical romance titles to the eBook section. Thanks again for your help Fiona.

Hi, fiz_danae,
I have tracked down the title for you! :-) It is The Surgeon's Perfect Match by Alison Roberts and it was out June 2006. Good luck tracking it down...try Amazon UK or ebay if no luck there. It's a great book!
Cheers

Hi fiz_danae,
I had a book out last year - Caring For His Child - that tackled the subject of organ donation. Its a subject close to my heart and I echo your sentiments.
Thanks for dropping by.

hi, thanks fiona(s) for the info. but the book i'm looking for is about the heroine doctor needing the transplant. but the surgeon's special gift is sure to be on my list now. organ donation has recently received a wide coverage in my country following the heart donation to a girl who has been living with mechanical heart. pledges for organ donation have increase following the successful transplant and i think it took incredible courage and selfless act to donate. Thanks to all organ donors.

Hi fiz_danae
Re Kidney Book.
Not sure if mine is the one you were asking about as in The Surgeon's Special Gift my heroine surgeon donated a kidney to her brother and the hero did the brother's op. But that one came out in Sept 06 in UK and October 06 in Aus and not in the US. I learnt heaps about organ donation and transplants from researching that book and it even made me sign my own licence as a donor. Hope it is the one you are looking for.
Thanks to Fiona Lowe for passing your comment on.
warmest regards

Joseph, your medical history sounds very interesting, but our publisher doesn't do real-life medical stories, only medical romance novels. Good luck with finding some interest elsewhere!

13 years ago I found out that I had a malignant tumor in
the left temporal lobe of my brain. 2 years ago the same thing happened. I wrote a manuscript about my life during those periods and how it was effected. I think it explains
how to deal with the fact of having cancer and how to stand up to it. It's called "You're the Boss". If you are interested in looking at my short manuscript please email me back. Thank you

I wish I could say I wrote about Australian Neuro-surgeons or emergency surgeons but I'm not Australian. I did write about an emergency doctor in Bride For A Single Dad, but the Emergency Doctor is the heroine not the hero.
Good luck with your search. Hope you find more books.

I am researching an article on the depiction of neurosurgeons and emergency surgeons in AUSTRALIAN medical romance. I'm having trouble location more than a couple of titles.
I'd be very grateful if anyone who has written a book with a neurosurgeon or emergency surgeon hero/heroine could let me know which books I should run out and buy/borrow.
Thanks

Hi Gail, thanks for dropping by. The Greek Children's Doctor was the middle book of a trilogy about triplets. The first was called The Spanish Consultant and the third book, about the brother, Alex, was called The English Doctor's Baby. Carlo, who appeared in The Italian Doctor's Wife did indeed have his own story. It was called The Italian's Passionate Proposal and was a Christmas story a few years ago. Hope this helps! Sarah
